Shaylah Davies is a passionate dance teacher and performer with over a decade of teaching experience across Saskatchewan, as well as private training as far as Atlanta. She is known for creative choreography and ability to create a positive, supportive environment where dancers can grow.
Since graduating, Shaylah has continued to grow both as a performer and educator. She performed for four seasons with the Saskatchewan Rush Electric Crew and completed two seasons with the Harvard Media Saskatchewan Roughrider Cheer Team. In 2017, she was also a member of the Riderflo Hip Hop Team, performing at Rider games before later joining the Roughrider Cheer Team. Career highlights include performing at the 112th Grey Cup and the Grey Cup Gala hosted by Gerry Dee, experiences that strengthened her passion for live performance and the entertainment industry.
One of Shaylah’s proudest accomplishments was participating in the 2026 Saskatoon City Hospital Foundation’s Swinging with the Stars fundraiser. Alongside her partner, she helped raise over $150,000 for the foundation and received the Star Power Award for bringing the community together and going above and beyond throughout the event.
Shaylah has trained across Canada and the United States, studying at leading studios, attending NFL training camps, and learning from some of the industry’s top choreographers. She holds certifications in Acrobatic Arts Module 1, Respect in Sport, and Advanced Child Care through the American Red Cross.
While still in high school, Shaylah began assisting at Triple Threat Dance Convention in Saskatoon and Edmonton, as well as Pure Dance Convention. These opportunities allowed her to work alongside respected teachers and choreographers, including Sean Cheesman, Comfort Fedoke, Jillian Meyers, Kelly Konno, and many others.
Committed to continuing her education, Shaylah is currently enrolled in the CDTA teacher training as she works toward earning her CDTA Jazz Teacher Licence. She is passionate about helping dancers build strong technique, confidence, and a genuine love of dance while continuing to grow as an educator herself.
