Hi! My name is Miss. Kate!

I am excited to spread my love of dance as a ballet teacher for DE! I love ballet because it always makes me feel pretty and regal while also requiring a lot of strength and control! Growing up, dance was always a big part of my life, and I am very excited that I now have the privilege of spreading my love of dance through teaching! My mission is to not only instill the love of dance but also the importance of working hard and being resilient. I am often described as inquisitive, compassionate, and funny!  I emphasis two-way communication and enjoy using multiple ways to explain a single concept. I love being a cheerleader for my dancers! In my classes, I encourage dancers to challenge themselves and to learn by trying and making mistakes! Teaching dance is always the highlight of my week. Watching my dancers learn and grow is one of the most fulfilling aspects of teaching. When I am not teaching dance, I can be found working as an engineer(-in-training!), playing with my dog Bella, baking, and taking aerial hoop classes! I can’t wait for yet another season at Dance Elements, as I know we are going to have so much fun together!
