Tap, Jazz and Modern Examinations
Canadian Dance Teachers Association offers examinations for students interested in participating. The Canadian Dance Teachers Association (C.D.T.A) is an organization that addresses the standards of Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Modern and Acrobatique by holding annual examinations across Canada. Students perform the set syllabus for an examiner and are graded on their ability to demonstrate the work, their understanding of musicality and their performance of the syllabus. Examinations are an option for students to enrol in, however not mandatory for their growth pro placement at Dance Elements.
The Royal Academy of Dance offers ballet examinations for students interested in participating. The Royal Academy of Dance (R.A.D.) is one of the worlds most influential dance education organizations. The R.A.D. was founded in 1920 to set standards for dance teaching in the UK, today they have a presence in 85 countries worldwide. R.A.D. exams are part of an internationally renowned system of assessments, drawing on the research and academic practices of twenty awarding organizations. Examinations are an option for students to enroll in, however not mandatory for their growth pro placement at Dance Elements.
